Energy Efficency Assessment
Our country’s homes need help. The 2010 Census claims there are 131 million homes in this country and many of them were constructed prior to the efficiency of modern energy and the requirements of today’s building codes. These homes often have indoor air quality issues, poor thermal properties and high energy costs.
My goal is to help you understand the system that is your home and how improving the small things in small steps can ultimately save you money on your energy bills. My focus includes recommending thermal improvements to the building shell, evaluating the current heating and cooling system, identifying energy consuming equipment or products and air infiltration.
